Ignition CBF (Peanut) has been purpose-bred by Amelia to fulfill a childhood dream - recreating her first horse, who was also a Clydesdale/Thoroughbred cross.

Peanut's dam, Hopps, had been successful at the Beginner Novice level of eventing, prior to taking a year off to produce this filly. She is now back in training with Adrienne Iorio in Massachusetts.

Hopps' sire hails from the world renowned Hatfield Farm in Manitoba, Canada. They've been breeding impressive Draft horses for more than 30 years, & CBF is incredibly grateful to have these genetics as part of our breeding & eventing program. As black Clydesdales only make up approximately 10% of the remaining Clydesdales worldwide, she is a rarity. Clydesdales in general are considered a threatened breed, with fewer than 5,000 remaining in the world as of 2024.​​
